Xcel's most advanced fullsuit gets a major upgrade for Fall 2014, with all new TDC Thermo Dry Celliant, a revolutionary inner lining with smart fibers that recycle your body heat into infrared energy for greater warmth, increased endurance, faster recovery, and enhanced overall performance. In the Drylock, TDC is featured in a diamond patterned high pile chest for core warmth, and an infrared print low pile shoulders and full lower body. The Drylock is the only fullsuit series with a 100% waterproof zipper, and Xcel's FusionWeld technology, the most durable, stitch-free, maximum all-way stretch seam construction available. A full water-repellent Quick Dry Fiber exterior and Xcel's exclusive Drylock Wrist Seals are just a few more of the many features that make the Drylock our most high performance fullsuit.
Waterproof Drylock Zip
Front entry attached at the right shoulder to keep more water out; with a waterproof zipper, SmoothSkin hem seal, pull cord/barrel lock combo, and a snap lock to keep zipper pull in place.
Quick Dry Fiber
Fast drying, hydrophobic outer lining promotes maximum warmth.
The most lightweight, premium foam available; significantly lighter, stretchier, and softer than standard foams.
Texture embossed rubber that provides excellent wind resistance; ideal for outer chest panels hoods, and other areas that would otherwise lose warmth quickly.
The most durable, stitch-free, maximum all-way stretch seam construction. A glued seam is heat fused with a durable composite outside and seam taping inside for a fully leakproof seal.
Fusion Seam Technology
Inner waterproof stretch Fusion taping fuses seams together; used primarily in the upper body where maximum flexibility is required.
Pressure Bonded Seams
A glued & blindstitched seam using pressure to bond panels together for a highly durable yet still flexible seam; finished with inner taping for comfort; used primarily in the lower body (taping color varies by product).
Glued & Blindstitched Seams
A fully sealed, maximum stretch seam construction that keeps water out. Neoprene panels are glued and pressed together, then blindstitched (needle doesn't fully penetrate neoprene, keeping water out). Can be finished with seam taping for added stretch, durability, and comfort.
Drylock Wrist Seals
Exclusive "donut seal" construction keeps water out and forms a snug, comfortable seal.
A thin band of liquid neoprene ("NexSkin") in the inner wrists and/or ankles forms an excellent seal, and helps minimize flushing.
Back Knee Flex Grooves
Behind-the-knee cutouts for even more flexibility.
Lower Leg Key Pocket
A streamlined key pocket, blindstitched to the lower right outer calf, with an inner key loop and drain hole.
