The “D’Arc” (French for “of Arc”) gets its name from the great Joan of Arc, a woman of action who actually has a lot in common with the Notorious BIG. In this regard, both figures obviously knew how to “go big” -- and how to battle. Both also died by the sword at too young an age. Because of her brief but impactful life accomplishments, Joan is now a Roman Catholic saint and a national heroine of France – while Biggie sits atop Hip Hop’s Mount Olympus. Point being, go big and live hard – except for the part where they burn you at the stake.
