I ordered online so I did not work with a sales person. I ordered a pair of O’Neill Boardshorts Superfreak and one pair of Lopez Freaks, they were shipped immediately and I received them within approximately 2 days which was excellent. There is a difference in the sizing of the two Boardshorts the Lopez Freaks are bigger than the Superfreak which has nothing to do with HansenSurf, but figured if people order online and are unaware of the fit of these shorts they should know that the Superfreaks are a little smaller than the Lopez Freaks. I highly recommend purchasing online with HansenSurf one of the best things when ordering online is receiving your merchandize FAST, and they are FAST, plus if you go over a certain amount the shipping is free, which since mine was free I expected it to come snail mail but that was not the case.

I purchased a pair of the Sanuk Yoga Mat flip flops during the summer and they are the best flip flops I own, and I own a lot! I liked them so much that I purchased 3 more pair last week just so I will have them next summer. I work at my daughters school and am on the playground for 3 1/2 hours a day on my feet and these flip flops are so good that I NEVER went home with a back ache! NEGATIVES: The dimness of the watch display makes it difficult to read the time, etc. if you don't have good lighting. The watch is also hard to read if you have too much lighting (like being outside on a sunny day). Luckily the built in light makes up for most of the difficulty. Once the light is activated the digits are much more readible. But then the light only stays on for a few seconds so you might find yourself constantly pressing the light button. The other negative only applies to those with arm hair. This might sound weird, but the Metal Atom can be painful if you have a decent amount of hair on your arms. The elastic band will expand to your wrist size, then catch any loose hairs while it fits. When you go to adjust or take of the watch, you end up pulling out a few hairs. It's really a minor problem and it doesn't happen too often but it is a comfort factor. POSITIVES: The Metal Atom is appealing to the eye. It's retro enough for the cool factor while retaining a modern look. It can be pulled off in a variety of settings; I've worn it to work, I've work it going out, and I've worn it hanging out. I have yet to try out the watch in water or on the mountain. The face of the watch is simple. There's one display that rotates through the time, alternate time, date, and seconds counter by pushing the button on the left side. The band of the watch is one size fits all. The gold plates expand to accommodate any wrist size. This watch was hard to find! I've had it on my wish list for about a year; no local vendors or major internet sites carried the watch. Then I stumbled up Hansen Surf and got my wish.

O'neill Boardshort Mens Kamikaze Boardshorts in Red Salesperson via phone: Asia Comments: I just received my O'neill kamikaze boardshorts in the mail today. I had ordered them off the Hansensurf website. Unfortunately, right after trying them on, I noticed that the security tag was still attached to one of the legs. I immediately called the phone number on my shipping invoice and spoke with Asia. She was very helpful. Unfortunately, she was very limited in the number of options she was able to offer me, due to no fault of her own. She said that some customers had the same problem in the past and were able to remove the tag with a pair of pliers. She said I could either try that or I could ship them back at no charge. There were no more in my size to replace them with. I am leaving for vacation next week and I really wanted this particular pair. I decided "what the heck," and tried to remove the tag. THANKFULLY, I got it off. I am so happy now. I had tried looking on MANY other websites before finding Hansensurf.com. On your website, I was finally able to locate this particular pair of boardshorts in my size and the color I wanted. I will definitely be placing future orders through you guys. I just hope next time the security tag is not still attached.

I want to take a moment to compliment the service I recently received by one of your employees, Aja. I had called to check the availability of a watch. Aja was kind enough to check the availability and report that it was in stock. When we realized it might not make it to the East as quickly as I hoped, Aja confirmed the order was received (via online purchase) and then somehow managed to give that single order special attention. Aja emailed me to say the watch left your facility on Tuesday, June 24 Somehow, the watch arrived from your location to me in Pennsylvania in 2 days on the 26th. I have to believe that kind of turnaround from order to arrival could only happen because your employee took the time to make it happen. I am currently working with Aja to purchase some Reef items because of the way she handled my previous order. Please let Aja know how much I appreciate her help.

I received an email after placing my order letting me know the item was on backorder, and I would receive another email letting me know when it would ship out. I actually received my item several days before they told me it would be shipped out. I really appreciated the email updates I received. I love the product, however I will have to return them because my feet are too wide for the sandals. I am not worried about exchanging them though because there are clear instructions on how to exchange /return items along with a form to fill out. I love it. I originally ordered a pair of flip flops and you were not able to ship them as Reef did not have any remaining in size 5. Mallory took my original order and when I called back after receiving the e-mail notifying me that the shoes were not available I asked for her. She was terrific, although she wasn't able to get my original order she went and looked at the flip-flops then took another brand that closely matched and sent them to me in a 1/2 size larger convincing me that this flip flop was much better and the right size would be a 6. It arrived the next day exactly as she had described and it fit PERFECTLY! I love them! She really was the very best, knew the merchandise, knew the sizing, and I'll buy stuff from her again.

I love Hansen's Surf Shop! What do you mean it doesn't count if I haven't entered the store - of course it counts! I shopped online and that certainly counts for EVERYTHING these days. Hey, I saw the shop pictures my fellow Yelpers have posted online and if you want my honest opinion (as I know you do!) it really does look like every other surf shop I have visited, so what's the difference. The difference at Hansen's Surf shop is that the staff know the true definition of customer service (unlike some places that I can't wait to Yelp about...) and that is to assist the customer - that would be me. Ok, so with the numerous hours of free time I now have - work hours, that is - and in a rare OCD moment I found myself surfing the internet and just happened to stumble upon Hansen's surf shop. It's funny how one kind of surfing could lead me to another kind of surfin and alot of fun was had by all involved - namely me.

I love this store, my husband loves this store, my 3 yr old loves this store. Why? Because they have stuff for everyone. They are a legit surfs hop - with great variety of boards, wetsuits, wax, and more. They have a great skateshop (from new boards to repairs), and they have GREAT shopping. I mean from basic ts, to designer brand jeans and dresses. Its just fabulous. The service is great - helpful.
